Streambank Protection

Stream bank protection applies to stream banks susceptible to erosion, and those problem areas able to be solved with simple structural measures, vegetation or upland erosion control practices.

The stream bank erosion practice considers tying beginning and end of practice into stabilized areas, fluctuating water levels, upslope runoff, channel grade, drainage, footing and slopes.

Measures must be in accordance with all local, state and federal permits and laws.
