2008 Arroyo Grande Creek Vegetation Management

While work moves forward on environmental analysis and permitting for the long-term Waterway Management Program (WMP) for the AG Creek flood control channel, annual vegetation management continues to be an important step in flood protection.  For the fourth year in a row, in 2008 the CSLRCD contracted with SLO County to coordinate work by the California Conservation Corps crews in thinning vegetation in the flood control channel.  Among the permits required for this work is a   Coastal Development Permit (CDP) Waiver from the California Coastal Commission.  The application for the CDP Waiver includes an in-depth project description and a number of attachments, provided below:
