2010 Arroyo Grande Creek Vegetation Management

In 2010, SLO County contracted with a private landscaping firm to perform vegetation management work on AG Creek, and contracted with the Coastal San Luis RCD for permitting and coordination of biological monitoring.  Among the permits required for this work were a Coastal Development Permit (CDP) Waiver from the California Coastal Commission, as well as a new Streambed Alteration Agreement from the California Department of Fish and Game (CDFG). The project's prior CDFG permit had expired in 2009; CSLRCD and SLO County jointly applied for and received a new CDFG permit for the project in 2010, and this new permit remains in effect through December 2014
