Maeve Gallagher
Maeve is a member of the California Conservation Corps Watershed Stewards Program and has a B.S. in Geology from the University of Puget Sound in Washington state. Before WSP, Maeve worked in environmental education and spent her summers working as a whitewater rafting guide in the Pacific Northwest. Her undergraduate work focused on hydrogeology and freshwater biogeochemistry, and she joined WSP to add to her knowledge base and learn more about freshwater ecology while gaining hands-on experience in the field. She looks forward to the opportunity to learn all she can about steelhead trout and riparian ecosystems, and to work with the RCD and her other mentors at her diverse placement site in San Luis Obispo. In her free time, Maeve loves to be doing anything outside with friends, and she's at her happiest deep in a river canyon.
